The act of providing Aadhaar details is voluntary in nature, and will be needed only for the purposes of opening the customer‘s investment account online, and for digitally signing the Investment Services or Account Opening forms. The Aadhaar details may also be uploaded as one of the acceptable address proofs (in lieu of driver‘s license or Passport). If the customer is not comfortable in providing the Aadhaar details at the time of account opening, they can choose to submit the account opening form physically along with alternate supporting documents.
LGFS Finserv does not store the entire or complete Aadhaar number on our servers. If the customer shares a copy of the Aadhaar, then the numbers are redacted before storage. During the account opening process, customers may be asked to provide the Aadhaar information in DigiLocker website (in order to fetch digital Aadhaar) or in NSDL website (in order to digitally sign the Account Opening forms). By sharing the Aadhaar details in these websites, LGFS Finserv only receives information limited to the last 4 digits of the Aadhaar number, full name, date of birth, gender, address, photo and/or digitally signed document.
